GE Fanuc’s IC660HHM501 Hand-held Monitor (HHM) is an interface operating device used to set up, monitor, and configure a Genius I/O and communication system. The HHM can be used as a portable monitoring device if desired by the user. 
Data for the Genius bus and all its devices are displayed on the screen of the IC660HHM501 to help the user receive and review I/O data for any device on the bus, memory data from CPUs, global data addresses, bus scan time, diagnostics, and descriptions of all devices on the bus. 
The monitor independently weighs 1.6 lbs. and its size is 8.00” x 3.75” x 1.25”. If stored in its protective case, the IC660HHM501 weighs 1.8 lbs. and measures 10.85” x 4.30” x 2.25”. 
The IC660HHM501 monitor is a hand-held monitor and a product of GE Fanuc Automation. It belongs to the Genius I/O product family and it is a standalone hand-held module. This hand-held monitor module comes with a removable leather case, a cable that is used to connect the monitor to the I/O block, a rechargeable battery, and a battery charger or adapter which has an 8-foot cord. The GE Fanuc IC660HHM501 hand-held monitor provides an efficient operator interface that enables the operators to monitor and control a Genius I/O PLC system’s operation as well as its communication. It features an LCD control screen with 4 selectable display languages, a battery pack, a 20-key sealed membrane keypad and a keyswitch that is used to access the restricted operator functionalities. This module‘s keypad comprises operation keys, function keys, and decimal keys which are used to provide reliable operation.
The GE Fanuc Genius I/O IC660HHM501 hand-held monitor features a battery pack which is used to provide a maximum of 6 hours of operation without any other power during a power failure. This unit has passed the industrial drop test, where it is dropped from 4 feet onto a concrete floor. Other notable optional accessories that can be purchased separately for the IC660HHM501hand-held monitor include an external connector for the HHM module that is used to offer a permanent connection on a Genius Bus. The GE Fanuc IC660HHM501 hand-held module is meant to be mounted on the back of the panel in the Genius I/O PLC by using the mounting brackets which are provided with the hand-held monitor.
